Curse Mackey:
Curse Mackey is a unique, must-see live act. His sonic explorations, high energy performance and next level visuals translate powerfully to the stage where Curse reaches his most profound sonic apex.
Based in Austin, TX, Curse Mackey is an electronic musician, producer, visual artist, producer, curator, a member of iconic industrial band Pigface and periodically My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult. A founder of the notorious San Antonio industrial punk band Evil Mothers, Curse began his career as a DJ and underground event promoter. He also has two published books related to his art endeavors.
SINE:
Austin, Texas’ electronic band, SINE (pronounced like ‘sign’, written in all caps), is the creation of drummer/multi-instrumentalist, Rona Rougeheart (last name pronounced roo͞zh•härt).
SINE’s music style, dubbed “electronic boom”, weaves beats with industrial noise, sub bass and synths to form a blend of dark, lush sounds. SINE’s live performances mix synths, drumming + vocals w a strong, female fronted experience that entertains and encourages empowerment.
Rona was born in New York, the youngest daughter of a Taiwanese mother and Irish father. She grew up as a military child, living all over the U.S. and in Okinawa, Japan. Her father was a musician who taught her how to play keys and guitar. It wasn’t until later, she decided to take up drums on her own. Early in her musical career, she played drums for multiple bands in Austin, TX, catching the eye of Gretsch Drums who, in 2012, gave her her first endorsement. Gibraltar hardware also added her to their roster.
She was just signed by Metropolis Records and has released her first single, “Trauma Bondage”, this year.
Resurgence Goth Night:
This performance will take place at JoHanna Moresco’s Resurgence Goth Night, a vital force in keeping the underground alive. Resurgence isn’t just a club night—it’s a movement, a haven for goths, rivetheads, and dark music lovers to connect, dance, and celebrate the music that defines us. By bringing legendary acts like Razed in Black to the stage, Resurgence continues to bridge the past and future of goth and industrial culture, ensuring that the scene thrives for generations to come.
